Cannot See Contents of a Samba Shared Folder
Wednesday, September 7th, 2005Windows/OSX cannot see the contents of a Samba shared folder on a Linux/Unix box if the Samba client does not have execute permissions on that folder.
If other words:
drw-rw-rw makes contents of the folder invisible
drwxrwxrwx makes contents of the folder visible
